Your Business Debit card is great for everyday purchases. It’s designed for you regardless of the size of your business and can help reduce the administration involved in reconciling cash and personal card expenses. That way it’s easier to keep track of all your business spending.

Information MessageYou can withdraw cash at any cash machine where you see your card scheme sign (Visa or Mastercard). Other companies may charge a fee. The daily limit for cash machine withdrawals is £1,500. If you have an account withdrawal limit in place this will reduce the daily limit you can withdraw. If you want to withdraw more than £1,500, you can visit one of our branches. Your card can be used at any Royal Bank of Scotland or NatWest branch teller for cash withdrawals up to the available funds in the account. You can also withdraw up to £500 per day at Post Office counters. Service fees may apply.
If your card is lost or stolen, we'll give you a code to withdraw up to £300 of your money from any Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest or Ulster Bank cash machine in the UK or Ireland. Withdraw up to £300 if you're an internet or telephone banking customer, or up to £60 if you're not. You'll need to have enough money in your account and a minimum of £25 available in your account.

All our standard Business Debit cards come with contactless technology, allowing you to make a secure payment in less than a second. You can buy anything up to a value of £100 by touching your card on a reader, anywhere you see the contactless symbol. If this limit feels a little too high, you can also set your own personalised contactless payment limit, between £5-£100, using the mobile app.
All your payments, including contactless, are processed using the same payment technology we use to process chip and PIN payments. You may occasionally be asked to enter your PIN as an extra precaution to protect your account. Contactless cards also use advanced security features that are independently approved by the payment card industry.
Any transaction made in a foreign currency using your Business Debit card is converted by us into Sterling using the Payment Scheme Exchange Rate (i.e. Visa or Mastercard). To see the up-to-date rates used for Visa Debit Cards and ATM cards visit visaeurope.com and click on the Cardholders section. For Mastercard, visit mastercard.co.uk/convert-currency. Whenever you make a purchase in a foreign currency we’ll charge you a Non-Sterling Transaction Fee of 2.75% of the value of the transaction.

Business Savings from Mastercard is a free merchant discount programme available with the Royal Bank of Scotland Business credit and debit card. We’ll process your application within five working days of receiving it. We will only receive the request once all authorised signatories have signed the form.
If your application is successful we’ll send your card and PIN out separately within 3-5 working days. If we need any further information or encounter any issues, we’ll notify you via text message.
If you think your debit card or any of your card details, such as your PIN number may have been stolen, you should report it to us to avoid the possibility of fraud. Once you’ve reported your debit card, we will send out your new card which will be with you in five business days.
You can now instantly report your card as lost, stolen or damaged through your mobile app. Simply open the app, tap on the account that your card is linked to and select 'Manage my card' to see your options. You can also report your card by logging on to your Digital Banking. Alternatively, you can fill in the form below Report your card

If you've misplaced your debit card, or want to stop it from being used, you can temporarily freeze your card to protect it from unauthorised use. You can freeze and unfreeze your card at any time using your mobile app.
You can instantly switch these back off at any time in the app.
Your mobile app has a function called Get Cash. This lets you take out cash when you don't have your card but need money - great for people who accidently leave their cards at home.
Withdraw up to £300 every 24 hours at our branded ATMs. You must have at least £20 available in your account and an active debit card locked or unlocked.
Simply log in to your app and click on the 'Get Cash' icon - you’ll find it at the bottom of the app home screen.
Let us know where you’re going at least 24 hours before. That way any payments you make are less likely to be blocked by our transaction monitoring systems.
You can register one trip at a time. It can include up to seven countries and last 90 days. Register each country you are visiting. The marker will apply to all debit cards in your name. Joint account holders should register separately.
If you have our Mobile Banking app, it’s easy to let us know you are going to use your debit card abroad. Simply go to the app, tap on the account that your card is linked to, select 'Manage my card' and then select ‘Going Abroad’ to register your trip.
You can let us know you are going abroad via webchat. Just log in to your online banking and select 'need help' at the right-hand side of the screen to start a chat with us.
